Immobiliser & Module Repair in Surrey
No-start immobiliser faults, a glitchy body-control unit, an airbag light after a bump? We repair the modules other garages only know how to replace — across Surrey, keeping your coding and saving you the dealer’s parts-and-programming bill.
Repair the module, keep your car’s identity
Modern cars are run by control modules — the immobiliser that lets the engine start, the BSI or body-control unit that manages the electrics, the airbag/SRS module, and comfort units. When one fails, the dealer’s only answer is a new module plus programming to marry it to your car, which gets expensive fast.
Most of these faults are repairable. We work at component level, so your original module goes back keeping its coding and immobiliser data intact — no new unit, no reprogramming, no immobiliser re-sync.
No-starts, BSI faults and airbag resets
A no-start with everything else working is very often a repairable immobiliser or ECU-communication fault, not a reason to replace half the car. We also repair BSI units behind electrical gremlins and reset airbag/SRS modules after an accident so the airbag light clears.
Mobile across every Surrey town
We diagnose at your home or workplace anywhere in Surrey and either repair on-site or collect, repair and refit — keeping you off the road for the shortest possible time, at a fraction of dealer replacement cost.

Immobiliser & Module Repair — frequently asked questions
My car won’t start and I’ve been told it’s the immobiliser — can you help?
Very often, yes. A no-start with everything else working is frequently a repairable fault in the immobiliser or its communication with the ECU, rather than a reason to replace expensive parts. We diagnose it properly first, then repair the original unit.
What’s a BSI and can you repair it?
The BSI (body systems interface) is the body-control module that manages much of a car’s electrics — common on French makes especially. When it faults it throws all sorts of electrical gremlins. We repair BSI units at component level rather than replacing and recoding them.
Can you reset an airbag module after an accident?
Yes. After a crash the airbag/SRS module usually stores crash data and lights the airbag warning. We can reset the module so the light clears — far cheaper than a new unit, and done without main-dealer programming.
Why repair a module instead of replacing it?
A repair keeps your original unit and its coding, so there’s nothing to reprogram and no immobiliser re-sync — and it’s typically a fraction of the cost of a dealer replacement fitted and coded.
Which modules do you repair?
Immobilisers, BSI/body-control units, airbag/SRS modules, and many comfort and convenience modules. Tell us the make, model and symptoms and we’ll confirm whether it’s one we handle.
Do you come to me?
Yes — we diagnose at your home or workplace anywhere in Surrey, and either repair on-site or collect, repair and refit depending on the module.
Which makes do you cover?
Most major manufacturers. Give us the make, model and a description of the fault and we’ll tell you straight away whether we can help.
Will the repair keep my keys and coding working?
Yes — because we repair your original module rather than fitting a new one, your keys, coding and immobiliser data all stay exactly as they were.
